Rocky Mountain Women’s Health Clinic understands that some women prefer the services of a Certified Nurse Midwife during pregnancy and delivery. Midwives offer care to women during pregnancy and delivery, and provide postpartum care for up to 6 weeks – including assistance with breastfeeding.

Midwives tend to promote a more individualized, natural birth experience that emphasizes patient comfort and control. Labor and delivery can take place at the hospital, a birthing center or in the patient’s own home.

Vivian Dearden, C.N.M., a practicing Certificated Nurse Midwife since 2005, is currently accepting new patients at Rocky Mountain Women’s Health Center. Check with your insurance provider to confirm coverage for midwife services.
